How do you waterproof outdoor wood?

Once you've treated, stained, or conditioned outdoor wood, apply timber oil, wood sealer or waterproofer on top. Using a brush is the best way to apply sealer, but a paint roller is an option if you need to quickly seal a large surface.

How do you waterproof a concrete exterior wall?

You'll need to apply the sealer with a roller or brush once the concrete has cured. If you're waterproofing an old concrete wall, you'll need to clean it and let any repairs cure before applying waterproofer.
