What remote is compatible with my smart TV?

Check the compatibility list in the remote’s manual to confirm your TV model is supported. Many TV remotes also include auto‑code search, which helps pair the remote even if you don’t know your TV’s exact code.

What are universal remotes?

A universal TV remote is designed to control more than one device. Instead of using separate DVD player remote controls or TV controllers, one remote can manage multiple inputs and functions.

Are universal remotes better than replacement remotes?

Replacement remotes are best if you want the same layout and functions as your original. Universal remotes are better if you need one remote for several devices, or if the original is discontinued.

What features should I look for when buying a universal remote?

Look for broad brand compatibility, simple setup, backlit buttons and support for universal DVD remotes if you still use disc players. Ergonomic design and clearly labelled buttons also make a difference.
