Are elliptical machines bad for knees?
To the contrary, since ellipticals provide a much more low-impact workout, they are generally considered to be a much less demanding alternative to treadmills or free running. It’s recommended to not repeat sustained movements if you experience pain or discomfort on your elliptical machine.
Do ellipticals require assembly?
Most elliptical machines will require at least partial assembly, so it’s recommended to have a basic set of tools just to be safe, including an adjustable wrench, Philips head screwdrivers, a ratchet kit, and a rubber mallet.
