This stepper comes pretty much assembled. It is compact and pretty sturdy. It is easy to use and to tuck away. The stepper is quite smooth and provides good amount of resistance to work up a sweat. The LCD monitor is simple and it tracks time, steps, and calorie burn. You can adjust the step height which is great, however the pedals does hit the base with every step, adding to the noise factor. (The noise level overall is tolerable but you can definitely hear when this stepper is being used!) Nonetheless, I do think this stepper is worth the price. It is a nice sturdy cardio equipment that gets you working those calves!

I was expecting a smoother, easier stepper. You will definitely feel your calves when using this stepper. I will keep it, but may not use it as much as I expected.
