The right tools for small scratches
Most vehicles have three levels of paint on top of the auto body panel: the primer, the basecoat and the clear coat. Minor scratches, stains and oxidation usually only affect the clear coat. In those cases, you will need a clear coat finish which we offer in a variety of finishes to match the one on your vehicle. You’ll also need some masking tape.
The right tools for deeper scratches
If the scratch is deeper, then you will need a few more tools and supplies. We offer a huge selection of paints, primers, and touch-up kits for hundreds of colour codes to match your exact paint code. Most scratches will tend to create a V-shaped groove and before you apply anything to fix it, you will need to smooth it out as much as possible. For that job, we offer many different types of sandpaper and auto body abrasives. Every scratch is different, and some require more than just one tool to fix. We also offer fillers, rust paint, adhesives and more for perfect results.
