What is the difference between a lint roller and a fabric or cloth shaver?

Lint rollers are an easy and effective way to remove lint and pet hair from any fabric surface using a sticky paper that easily rolls over fabrics. Fabric shavers are battery-operated and feature fabric-safe rotary blades that work to gently shave off lint and pilling without pulling threads or damaging seams.

What can I use a lint remover on?
