What should I look for in an outdoor sectional sofa?

Outdoor sectional sofas should fit your patio, yard, or porch, withstand the elements, and be life-proof. This means having a patio sectional that will withstand daily life and complement your other patio lounge furniture. Consider the material of your sectional, from the frame to the cushions, to ensure that your selection is both comfortable and functional. How to clean outdoor patio sectionals?

It is important to regularly and thoroughly clean your patio sectional to maintain longevity and keep up its appearance. Especially since textiles and cushions can accumulate dirt and trap debris, you should ensure you remove the cushions frequently to clean the cushions themselves and underneath them. Cleaning a sectional is easy and can be done with regular household cleaning equipment:

1. Remove all cushions from the sectional and brush away any loose debris

2. Gently clean the frame with gentle soap and warm water and then use a garden hose to gently rinse off any cleaning solution

3. Run the cushion covers through the washing machine (recommended to do every season)

4. Allow your sectional and cushion covers to air dry in the shade

How to protect outdoor patio sectionals?

To reduce cleaning frequency and keep your outdoor sectional safe from the elements, you can purchase a patio furniture cover. Outdoor furniture covers repel water and protect against dirt, mould, UV rays. They can also stop frames from warping or breaking under extreme heat or cold. Ideally, you should look for cover with a custom-like fit and ties or grommets and ropes to keep it secure.
