What is a powersport battery?

A powersport battery is a category of batteries that are long-lasting, high-performing, and require little to no maintenance depending on the manufacture or type of battery. This type of battery is used for specialty vehicles that take on unique terrain on land or water. How long do powersport batteries last?

Typically, sealed AGM batteries have an average lifespan of 3 to 5 years and conventional acid-filled batteries have a lifetime of 2 to 3 years. Your battery’s health and longevity depends on how well you maintain it.

How many volts is a powersport battery?

Most powersport batteries will have their voltage as 12 volts. The amp-hour ratings and cranking amps will vary based on the vehicle and model.
