What is the difference between cotton, microfibre and sponge-style kitchen dish cloths?

Microfibre dish cloths feature tightly woven microfibre fabrics that resist bacteria growth and hold up well through numerous washes. They dry quickly and are gentle enough for wiping delicate items like glassware.
