How should fishing rods be stored?
The most important thing is to keep fishing rods off the ground so they can't get damaged. If they're indoors in your basement or garage, you can hang fishing rods from the wall to store them safely. In a car trunk, on a boat or outside, you'll want to use a carrier that's waterproof and sturdy to prevent any damage.

What's the best way to store fishing rods?
This is a matter of personal preference. Some anglers prefer to mount a rack for quick access to rods, while others will pack them away in a bunk box or carrier so they're ready to travel.

Is it bad to store fishing rods horizontally?
Not at all. The most important thing is that rods are protected from moisture and accidents and keeping them elevated horizontally or vertically is the best way to do that.

Can fishing rods be left outside?
If you're letting them dry, or they're in a protective box or carrier, you can leave fishing rods outside for a while. But why invite the risk? It's always best to keep fishing rods stored indoors properly to avoid the risk of theft, damage, mold or accidents.
