Rivets scratching the plastic

The rivets holding the cap on stick far enough inside that they’re scratching the inner tube. At first I thought it was largely cosmetic but they are quite deep.

I use 1 piece rods between 7 and 8 feet long and found this tube easy to use and a great way to keep the tips safe.

Too long

First off it's too long for my two piece seven foot six rod. Is only padded at each end. Has rivets sticking through inside. Now I have to shorten it. And try and find a cloth bag to put my rod in, before I even think of sliding my rod in their.
