What is the difference between trailer wheels and car wheels?

Trailer wheels and car wheels may seem similar at first glance, but they have some key differences. The most significant difference is in their load-bearing capacity. Trailer wheels are designed for heavy-duty applications and are typically made of materials that prioritize durability and strength as they need to withstand the rigors of towing heavy loads and navigating rough terrain. Car wheels, on the other hand, place greater emphasis on factors like weight reduction and aesthetics, which means that their load rating is much lower than trailer wheels.
