If your staple gun is rear loading, look for the pusher rod at the back of the gun. Push on that component, and it will release so you can remove it fully from the staple gun. Then load in your staples legs-down over the guide rails. From there, push the magazine back into the chamber of the staple gun, and hook the pusher rod back into place.
Why is my staple gun not working?
The most common reason for a staple gun or heavy-duty stapler not working is because they wrong size of staples inserted. This can quickly cause a jam in the magazine chamber and cause nothing to come out when pulling down on the trigger. On the more mechanical side of things, it could be due to excessive use wearing down the hammer or spring mechanism that shoots the staples. In that case, you’ll need to replace that part or the entire stapler altogether.
How to remove staple gun staples from surface?
Heavy-duty staple guns can insert staples very deep into wood. Because of this, a sturdy staple remover or set of diagonal plyers will do the trick. These tools will provide the right amount of pressure to grip and remove the staple.
