I bought this stapler on December 18th, and it stopped working on December 24th. the firing pin stopped retracting on its own therefore after every shot, you have to manually push the pin back in order to fire another staple. absolute trash!

A: No. Max depth is 5/8" staples. You will want a much more hefty crown stapler that handles 1 1/2" - 2" staples. The arrow is great for very thin material. Used mine to reupholster a chair

A: It takes the T50 width staples. They have an entire section of them in various lengths. Great stapler btw. Hits hard. I just used it to fasten a seat cover to a hard plastic seat pan. Drove them right in.

A: There is plenty of power to drive the staple through the plastic and carpet into the stairs. You will need to choose a staple long enough to accommodate the thickness of material you are securing. Can be used up to 120psi.

A: Yes, the Arrow PT50 can be used for carpet on stairways as well as hard surfaces such as Oak, Plywood and MDF.

Q: I'm reskinning my honda motorcycle seat trying to penetrate the hard plastic mold. I previously used a hammer type roofing stapler (Fat Max) with shallow 1/4" staples. It hardly penetrated the vinyl skin. Is the T50 able to pass thru?

A: Consumers should use a 5/16th staple rather than ¼’ for deeper penetration on the vinyl cover. Also use a Stainless Steel staple which is more expensive but built for tougher jobs like this (CTC model number 057-7929). Using a pneumatic PT50 will definitely drive more power into the staple. It will also allow a more accurate placement of the staple versus the action of a Hammer Tacker. However, we can not guarantee it will pass through your specific plastic seat mold.
