What is the best stain remover for old carpet stains?

A powerful carpet stain remover with oxy technology is your best option for tackling old, deep, and set-in stains. Spot treating the stain before you clean can also help get it out more easily. High traffic formulas are ideal for cleaning heavily used carpets.

Is it necessary to rinse the carpet after shampooing?

Rinsing the carpet is important because it will remove leftover chemicals from the cleaning process, which can leave a residue that can speed up the rate the carpet gets dirty in the future. If you have pets or small children, getting all the chemicals out of the carpet is important for their safety. If you are spot treating by hand, this is an important step, otherwise your machine will do it for you.
