What is structural hardware?

Structural hardware includes a range of metal parts that can be welded or bolted together or on to wood, and are designed for building.

What are the different types of building hardware?

The main types of building hardware we offer include:

Hinges, which are designed to let lids, doors, and gates swing open.

Corner braces and irons let you add extra stability to wood joints and parts in tables, chairs, and other furniture.

Mending Plates are much like corner braces but designed to reinforce flat surfaces.

Specialty braces are designed to support lids, and typically use friction or springs to keep them open.

Specialty hardware includes metal sheets, tread plates, lengths of metal tubing, and angled metal plates that can include slots for bolts.

Additional information for residents of Quebec only: The regular annual rate for persons applying for the Triangle Mastercard and the Triangle World Elite Mastercard is 21.99% for cash transactions and related fees and 21.99% for all other charges. Some applicants may receive a higher or lower regular annual rate depending on a credit evaluation. The minimum payment is the sum of (a) the greater of: (i) interest and fees shown on your statement + $10; or (ii) 5% of the New Balance, excluding amounts on special payment plans, (b) any balance over your credit limit, (c) any amounts past due not included in (b) above, and (d) the amount of any equal payments plan instalments then due.
