How do I protect my hands and knees when gardening?

When gardening, it is important to wear gloves to keep your hands safe and prevent injuries while pulling weeds, planting flowers, and using sharp tools. These tasks require specialty gardening gloves that provide support and protection. These gloves are made with flexible materials such as latex, combined with knit fabric for comfort and breathability. As well as typical injuries, gardening gloves shield your hands from the sun and their ergonomic design reduces hand fatigue.

Having additional support for your knees can also make gardening an easier and more comfortable task. Knee cushions or garden kneelers are great portable solutions, with some having a 2-in-1 design you can use as a seat and kneeler.
