How does a water softener work?

Water softeners eliminate unwanted metals like iron and magnesium in hard water by injecting conditioning salts and passing the mixture through a resin filter.

What type of water softener salt do I need?

The type of conditioning or softening salt you'll need depends on the hardness of your water and the type of softener machine you use. We carry a variety of high-purity salts, pellets, and crystals to suit your water softening needs.

How to install a water softener?

How much water softener salt to add to the water softener?

We offer water softeners that automatically add the right amount of salt as needed. You will want to check your machine occasionally to see that it's properly supplied with pellets or crystals and working correctly.
