The MotoMaster 4L-B Powersports Battery is a workhorse battery that keeps your personal watercraft, snowmobile, ATV, or motorcycle running. This MotoMaster battery is designed to replace a variety of OEM batteries and features a 12-volt rating, 4 amp-hour capacity, and 56 cranking amps. Measuring under 5” (12.7 cm) long and weighing just over 3 pounds (1.36 kg), this compact yet powerful battery ensures a reliable start and run time. The battery comes with everything required for installation, including hardware and instructions, but requires filling and charging before its first use.

16 years agoA: The best battery for you is the battery i have that powers my mightyness. I recieved this battery from the greek god himself the mighty ZEUS!! For he told me if i plugged into it nightly i could destroy anyone who would stand in my way. I once body slammed a 700 polaris with a 350 pound hillbilly on it when i was fully charged with this battery. I hope this helps.

Q: do recrational batteries come alredy charged? 12volt yb4-lb 4amp #27-1007-8
16 years agoA: It takes a lot longer than 2 hours to charge these batteries from new. They are shipped dry. Once you have poured the acid into the battery it is best to let it sit for at LEAST 2 hours to let the bubbles escape. Once the bubbles have slowed down, insert the caps and charge using a TRICKLE charger (2 amps or less). This usually takes about 8 hours, but is well worth it. If you use a fast charge (anything higher than 2 amps) for your initial charge, you can decrease the battery life substantially. A lot of stores rush the filling / charging process... I know because I used to work there.

Q: What is the max amperage for charging?
7 years agoA: The recommended charge rate for this small 4 Ah battery is <1 amp. We would recommend something like the NOCO G750 or Battery Tender Junior which are both 0.75A max.

Q: Would this work in my Vespa ET4 150cc (2005)? Hi, is this equivalent to any of the following. YTX12BS or a CTX12BS or RTX12BS.
9 years agoA: There seems to be little OE information about the correct battery for this Vespa however if the online forums are correct, then the 12BS is what you're looking for. You can use Eliminator Ultra model 27-1028 (12BS) or Eliminator Ultra XD model 27-1561 (ETX12).
