Q: I have one of your 24HL-BS batteries for my motorcycle, I take the battery out and put it on a battery tender (charger) over the winter. My battery tender has 2, 4 and 6 amp charging rates. What is the recommend charging/maintenance rate for this battery?

A: No we would not recommend this battery for sideways installation. Please view the comparable MotoMaster Eliminator Ultra XD Factory Activated Powersports Battery, ETX18L (SKU# 027-1566) which can be mounted on its side.

Good battery. Just be patient and charge it well

Pleasantly surprised that this battery came with the acid separate in plastic bottles. The instructions were clear. But make sure you pay attention. It takes at least 40 min to prepare the battery. Battery heats up as the acid is added to it. Once you have properly prepared the battery you need to charge it for at least 20 hours. Don’t charge it too fast this will damage the battery. After 20 hours. Install the battery. It worked fine for me.
