    Good ATV Battery

    Good little battery for the price I use it for my ATV I bought the same one again and the last one I got about 5 years out of it. Not Bad!

    It’s a great product but it’s a real hassle with the $10 core. The product is great, but I’d purchase it somewhere besides Canadian Tire if you’re looking to get your $10 core money back.

    (23 months later) No Good - Doesn’t Last

    This is one of the few negative reviews I have written for CT. I love CT and their products, but NOT this one. I bought this 027-1069-0 battery in January 2023 for my snowmobile. After charging, at the beginning of the season (December 2024) the battery showed “weak” on the load tester. Subsequent, charging did not restore the charge. I went back to the store (with my receipt) for a replacement and the Associate (correctly) informed me there was only a 1 year replacement warranty. I’m extremely disappointed, especially since we only ran the snowmobiles for probably 6 hours total using that battery, due to lack of snow. At the time I could have bought a similar battery with the same 1 year warranty for around 60% of the $120 MSRP I paid. Anyway, I suggest to shop around and you can get a much better AGM battery for a lot less. Very disappointed with my favourite store and battery unfortunately. 🙄👎

    It was new to me when the associate readied the battery for me, all I had to do was charge it for 12 hrs. No muss, no fuss. Quad was purring the next day. Thanks!

    • A: Yes, it is one of 3 options you can choose from: 027-1022 (14A-A2) MotoMaster Conventional Battery 027-1069 (14AH-BS) MotoMaster Eliminator AGM Battery 027-1563 (ETX15) MotoMaster Eliminator Premium AGM Battery The first two options require the battery to be activated (filled and charged) before installation. (A bottle of acid is included in the box.) The third option is factory filled and charged, ready to install.

    Q: Hello, can the 14AH-BS battery power a minn Kota trolling motor? If so how long approximately can it run it on full speed?

    • A: Absolutely not. It is not a deep cycle battery and it has way too little capacity. Minn Kota typically recommends a (marine) deep cycle battery with at least 90 Ah capacity in order to provide sufficient output to run the motor at full load and capacity to run it for any reasonable amount of time.     • A: Hello. You can only turn in one of your old ATV batteries as the core towards the purchase on a new ATV battery. You can drop off your second old battery as well and our store will ensure it safely goes for recycling rather than to landfill.
