Excellent Home machine,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine itself is great. It is worth paying the money to have the team do the set up, it would have been way too complicated to do on my own. The machine is slightly taller than anticipated, so not good for rooms with low ceiling heights. My biggest drawback is that the iFit video is not as intuitive as I would have hoped for a subscription model. I think the machine does not have enough "easy to use" offline programs of intervals, etc. so make certain that you have good Wi-Fi access.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we bought this elliptical, it was advertised as “3 in 1”, elliptical, stepper, treadmill. When using it, it takes several seconds to get it going as a stepper, holding firm on the handles so they don’t move. There is no way to make this machine emulate a treadmill, as you have to hold onto the handles all the time. We found the elliptical to be very jerky when we try to go at a fast pace. Just not a smooth running machine. We have contacted NordicTrack and are returning the elliptical.

A nice upgrade

We recently upgraded our 2020 era elliptical to the new X16 and we do enjoy the larger screen and the ability to stream Netflix, etc while on it. I also appreciate the tilting the machine does when going downhill or uphill to make it seem like real life activities. That being said, there are a few things that I still scratch my head about. 1) Bummer that you can’t really watch all your streaming apps on the platform, only a few. 2) There is not a shelf to place a phone or tablet on. 3) the screen does pivot, but it’s not a 360 etc pivot, more like a slight up and down pivot. 4) I have had issues with my headphones connecting to the trainer audio with this newer software. 5) The thing thinks I’ve made a “smart adjustment” when I haven’t touched anything. Do I think it’s a good upgrade, yeah. Do I think it’s a necessary upgrade? Depends on what the new features are worth to you.

Loving the X16 Elliptical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy the X16 Elliptical; the white-glove setup made it easy to get started. Connecting to the WiFi and operating it was straightforward. This is my second NordicTrack Elliptical, and I’m making the most of iFit while enjoying the interactive personal training.
