This Epoxyshield driveway sealer covers up to 93 square metres and dries quickly, with rain-ready protection in just 1 hour. The advanced formula stays jet black longer than standard sealers, covering cracks and holes in a single coat without running. Simply apply with a roller or squeegee, allowing the epoxy-fortified formula to penetrate deep into asphalt for long-lasting protection and a look that's ultra-black for years.

Best band for the buck..when in sale

This is the best bang for the buck product there is. Most of the others do not last 2 years, I got 3 years out of my last coating, and could have stretched it to 4. It loses a star as coverage is nowhere near amount stated. For a double double driveway (pardon the TH pun), that is 4 cars total, I used 2 and 1/2 pails. Rough calculation, of 800- 1,000 sq ft that was covered. I filled on cracks previous day with same brand filler (not sold at CT), and lines barely noticeable. I did use a squeegee versus a roller and it gets into the asphalt rock crevices much better, albeit using more product…but avoids need for second coat or touch ups.

A: I just did 900 sqft and it took every bit of 3 full pails, I'd buy 8 pails if I was doing 2000 sqft. My driveway was a typical driveway with asphalt cement erosion, etc. nothing crazy and I spent a lot of time crack filling beforehand. 1 pail does not cover 1500 sq ft, "canadiantireteam" is completely out to lunch.

A: There is no expiry date published that I know of, but I suspect it would be fine as long as it wasn’t allowed to freeze. It’s good for 5 years after applying so I expect shef life would be at least that

A: I read that it should be applied to damp surface but no standing water. Applied one pay last summer and a second coat this summer. May as well use it up if the shelf life is only one year.

A: it appears to have bonded very well to my previous sealer applied 4 years prior. I pressure washed the surface the night before applying to make sure the surface was very clean.

A: My recollection is that you could walk on it in about 3 hours. As fornparking your car it is best to wait 24 hours. Possiblynlinger if you apply in really hot weather, (not recommended).
