Couldn't Use It

I bought this 6 months ago and went to use it today and it separated and has a cottage cheese consistency. too late to take back and get a refund.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How is this product applied?

A: Hi James, Our SealKrete Clear-Seal is applied with a roller or sprayer. Apply in light, even coats. One coat is recommended; however, over porous surfaces (like saltillo tile) or when a higher sheen is desired, apply a second coat.

Q: Is there a life expectancy noted on the product? And do you have to wait a certain time to apply it on new concrete, and does concrete have to be dry? Thanks!

A: Hi, Great question! The shelf life of our Seal-Krete Clear-Seal Concrete Sealer is 2 years (closed container). New concrete must be cured for a minimum of 30 days and the sealer needs to be applied to dry concrete. Temperatures should be 50° to 90°F (10° to 32°C) and should not fall below 50°F (10°C) within 24 hours of application. Do not apply if rain is expected within 12 hours.

A: Hi Jsimon, Our Seal-Krete Clear-Seal Concrete Protective Sealer has a shelf life of 2 years, opened or unopened. We recommend that you store the container in a dry area and make sure it is kept from freezing.

Q: Is this safe to use on heated concrete garage floors.

A: Hi nick, Yes, our Clear-Seal Protective Sealer can be applied to a heated concrete garage floors. Just keep in mind, the floor heater should be turned off for 2 days prior to application and off for another 2 days after application.

A: Hi Charlie J, Smooth-finished concrete may be slippery when wet; consider using an anti-skid additive like our Rustoleum Anti-Skid Additive on high foot traffic areas.
