Beautiful product to use WITH OTHER PRODUCTS

Please know what you're doing before you use this product!! make sure that you use stuff to cover any nail holes in that roof first before you put the latex up -this has a little bit of elasticity, but it needs to be over some other products(if you have any leaks or cracks- make sure that's covered as this product does not fill those and it could actually just make it look like it's OK but underneath it's NOT ***according to AI one must #1. Apply Sikaflex 1a, Sashco Through‑the‑Roof, or butyl sealant tape over all screw heads and along open seams (ref.AI) and then put this product over top (for Canadian Winters anyway and Summers )) It rolls out really nice and I do like the product-easy application with paintbrush and roller and tray -oh one more note **don't just apply it to your roof make sure you take a broom up there with you and brush off all the loose stuff lol. Happy roof repairing !😸🙃🫟🖌️🪣🧹🏠

A: Hi Mike, Our Rust-Oleum LeakSeal Elastomeric Roof Coating is designed for use over metal, weathered single-ply membranes as well as smooth surface asphalt built-up and modified bitumen roofing substrates. Single-ply membranes may be made from PVC, EPDM, or other thermoplastics. ABS is another type of thermoplastic, and should present a suitable surface for this coating once prepared according to the label instructions

A: I used it on a hard shell - aluminum - tent trailer top. I doubt it would work on a foldable surface. It dries to a pretty stiff rubbery layer with a thickness to it.

Q: Would this work to seal an aluminum RV roof in conjunction (over top) of eternabond style butyl seam tape? Want to reseal all of my seams and then coat the roof.

A: I have a harley trailer for my harleys and that is what I used it for. I found that I did 2 coats and it looks like new. I did this 2 years ago and it sits outside year round and still looks great. I put it on with a roller. Hope this helps.

A: Hi Glenn, Great question! Our Rust-Oleum LeakSeal® Elastomeric Roof Coating can be sprayed, rolled or brushed on your travel trailer. A 10 mm (⅜”) nap roller is recommended if rolling.

Q: What prep is required for an aluminum roof before using this product

A: Just a good cleaning and to make sure it is dry prior to application

Q: Can i use it on vinyl material of a pop tent bed section which its foldable

A: I used it on a hard shell - aluminum - tent trailer top. I doubt it would work on a foldable surface. It dries to a pretty stiff rubbery layer with a thickness to it.

A: Oui très bonne adhérance

A: Yes it can be used for a rubber roof vent sealing. I found it works great

Q: Can it be applied to a plywood roof? And if so should it be primed first?

A: Better to apply on metal but I;'m sure the plywood be ok with a base coat of any paint to seal it.

Q: Would this work to seal an aluminum RV roof in conjunction (over top) of eternabond style butyl seam tape? Want to reseal all of my seams and then coat the roof.

A: I have a harley trailer for my harleys and that is what I used it for. I found that I did 2 coats and it looks like new. I did this 2 years ago and it sits outside year round and still looks great. I put it on with a roller. Hope this helps.
