What accessories should I buy for my generator?

There are many accessories you can purchase for all your generator needs. Arguably the most important accessory is a generator cover that is made to fit a generator of your size. This is so you can effectively store your generator when not in use to prevent dirt and dust accumulation and be able to operate it covered in most types of weather. Champion generator covers are specifically designed for Champion generators to provide a custom fit. They are durable, water-repellent, and lightweight, and some feature extras like a refuelling door and frame rods to withstand wind, snow, and rain.

Other valuable generator accessories include warmers to keep your oil filter or battery at optimal temperatures, generator cords and extension cords that feature twist-to-lock plugs, flat cables, and water- and flame-resistant materials, and portable generator wall kits that make using your generator a breeze. These wall kits make it safe and easy to use your portable generator by keeping generator gas outdoors and lighting up the area with panel lights so you can see what you’re doing.

Should I keep my generator covered when it's not in use?

Generators are expensive, heavy-duty pieces of machinery. Purchasing a generator cover that is designed to fit your model will prevent frequent generator maintenance and prolong the life of your generator. Whether you’re storing your generator in the shed or outdoors, a cover will protect your generator from dust, dirt, insects, and other environmental factors.

Additional information for residents of Quebec only: The regular annual rate for persons applying for the Triangle Mastercard and the Triangle World Elite Mastercard is 21.99% for cash transactions and related fees and 21.99% for all other charges. Some applicants may receive a higher or lower regular annual rate depending on a credit evaluation. The minimum payment is the sum of (a) the greater of: (i) interest and fees shown on your statement + $10; or (ii) 5% of the New Balance, excluding amounts on special payment plans, (b) any balance over your credit limit, (c) any amounts past due not included in (b) above, and (d) the amount of any equal payments plan instalments then due.
