Q: Does this come with the proper guage wire to go into your panel?
2 years agoA: This unit does not come with the wire. That is the responsibility of the customer and in this application it should be installed by a licensed Electrician as it is part of a standby panel to protect our Utility workers. The wire size should be at least large enough for 30 amps however if the panel is a longer distance away from the standby panel a larger gauge of wire is required due to voltage drop.
