We live where there are hurricanes. Purchased this with our 3650W dual fuel generator as it was recommended. We haven't had the opportunity to use it yet (thank goodness)

Great complimentary product

Great product to add to your generator. Loved that it adds 3 x 120V outlets with a 25ft extension cord without using the 2 x 120V outlets already on the generator. Loved the flat design so your able to pass it through the door opening without leaving the door too much opened.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Can you use this cord in the 30Amp receptacle and the regular 120v receptacles simultaneously? In other words plug something into this plug, then plug something into the 120v/15Amp plug as well on the Champion 4000W/5500W Model# 201242?

A: You should be able to but output will still be limited to what the generator is capable of. Looking at 45 total amps multiplied by 120v, you’re going to be capped at 5400w. Not a big deal for my 4000w generator but could be problematic for a 7000w if you actually need all of that output.

A: Why do you say that you do not make a cord to fit a 20amp outlet on your generators? This cord does exactly that, does it not?

Q: Are you able to utilize the full 30 amp cord capacity or does the 20 amp circuit breaker limit this? In other words is the 20 amp circuit breaker on the cord going to trip if I run two small 15 amp heaters at the same time ?

A: This 30-amp cord converts to three 15-amp household outlets. So, there should be no issues running those heaters. Thank you.
