When is it safe to use bleach in my laundry?

Before using bleach, it’s always important to check the garment’s care label to see if it's safe for the fabric. When applying chlorine bleach to your laundry, you should always dilute it with water before using it. With oxygen bleach (powdered bleach), you add it to the wash water before you add the garments in. Never apply powdered bleach directly to wet clothes.
