What's the difference between flood lights and spotlights?
Spotlights provide a narrow beam of bright light and are typically pointed downwards from the roof or ceiling in indoor and outdoor spaces. Flood lights are usually connected to a motion sensor and cast a wide light for illuminating larger areas outdoors and enhancing home security.

How do I know which flood light or spotlight to buy?
Matching the wattage and type of the replacement bulb is important to ensure proper operation. Coloured flood light bulbs can be effective for seasonal decoration outdoors.

What features should I look for when buying flood or spotlights?
Some flood light bulbs have built-in motion sensors, which can be a handy feature if your fixture lacks a sensor. The colour temperature and brightness of spotlight bulbs can be important depending on whether it will highlight art, provide working light, or illuminate a room.
