The kitchen fan used has a low and high light setting. For some reason this bulb doesn’t work on the low light setting setting even though it’s dimmable. It only works on the high light setting. I’m disappointed in this product. They try to make products with features that don’t work with certain fixtures. Not sure why they thought you would need a bulb that’s dimmable. The old halogen bulb that’s not dimmable works ironically, but good luck trying to find a non-dimmable LED bulb par 20 e26 bulb.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Halogen Light Bulbs - Hard to find, all LED now

My range hood recommends halogen light bulbs. Canadian Tire had just what I needed. They were hard to find as most clerks direct you to LED lights that are dual purpose - my manual said not to use them.
