Good Security Light

Great addition to front door security. Radius of influence as a pot light was only a couple meters so was not picking up a lot of extraneous motion. Very bright.

Really Like the function and lasted an AB winter

I bought this for the light for my man door to my garage at the side of the house. I found it worked well all winter. the motion sensing seemed to aroind 150 degrees. it would see my motion as I approached from the backyard side of the house and was about 4 m away. I am going to install 2 more at the corners to see if I get the desired lighting with no interference between them. So far though, very happy with the light.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Will this light bulb work in a regular motion sensor outlet? Or do they have to be used in a regular outlet? I purcased them to put in my motion sensor light over my garage door, not realizing that the light itself was a motion sensor bulb.

A: It works in a regular outlet built for these shapes bulbs/ceiling locations. If someone walks near/under, It trips the photos sir and the bulb should turn on brightly. Mine is a whitish light not a warm caramel coloured bulb it’s meant to illuminate the are for security purposes/ illuminate an area.I have had mine under the bull loation on my front deck most closely located nearest to my front door. I also have my doorbell camera mounted less than 2 feet from my front door so that an individual that sets off the camera will be clearly bistable as the light above will turn on and illuminate the individual at my front door.

Q: I bought two of them today. Both don't turn off after 30 seconds. They turn off after about five minutes just for a second then turn back on for another five minutes before turning off a second without any motion downstairs. I tried all the resetting tip

A: Hi! Thank you for your inqury! No, the NOMA Advanced PAR38 Motion Detector Light Bulb is unlikely to reliably detect motion from 18 feet away. Its typical sensing range is around 10 to 15 feet.

Q: I installed 4 for around my garage. 3 never go out but one does as advertised. Is there a sensitivity setting on these? Or any other reason. The one that does turn off is on a different breaker.
