Globe PAR30 E26 Base Smart Dimmable LED Flood Light Bulb, Colour/Tunable White, 75W

I bought this so we could turn outdoor lights on at the cottage before we arrived. I see now in small print on the box it is for indoor use only. This is not indicated on the description on the CTC website.

I love the way this works. I can schedule different color displays and timing.

Has trouble with internet and only works at short distance from hub. Constant baby dirty setup

Using two of these outdoors at the front of the house. The light works just enough to get the job done, but there are a few things that may reduce it's usefullness for others. First off the light is decently bright on full, but my old Phillips 650 lumen bulbs was brighter. I use to dim the old light a bit, so not a big deal for me. Second, the WiFi range on these leaves a bit to be desired. My WiFi hub is centred in the house so I wasn't expecting to have issues. However, the light I placed on the furthest spot at the front of the garage has had issues staying connected. I would guess it's about 60ft away. I've had to "aim" my router a bit so that WiFi signal reaches it better and so far it's worked for 95% of the time (It's annoying when only one of the two bulbs turns on). I think the WiFi chip should be upgraded, it's got direct power so it should reach further. Noticed that some of the colours are not very accurate. Red looks pink, yellow barely exists, some of the softer whites could be a little more accurate. Brightness when using colours is decreased, which is kind of expected, but was hoping it could be brighter. Planning on keeping them, but a few things could be improved.
