Top tips on how to prevent auto theft

With reports of car and truck theft on the rise and new sophisticated methods making crime easier, there's never been a better time to ensure your vehicle is protected. There are ways to help prevent would-be thieves from stealing your vehicle. We have a variety of wheel and clutch locks, trackers, clamps and RFID blockers to help you deter or prevent theft.

What does anti-theft do on a vehicle?

The purpose of any anti-theft device is to prevent theft in action or to monitor and track the vehicle after it's stolen. A classic example is the Club, an iconic anti-theft device that immobilizes the steering wheel making it nearly impossible to operate until it is removed. GPS trackers are a type of anti-theft device that can help locate stolen cars.

What are some excellent ways to keep my vehicle safe?

The best way to keep your vehicle safe is to park it in your locked garage at night or in a well-secured or well-lit parking area. It's best to take valuables, boxes and bags out of your vehicle when you park so it's less tempting for break-ins. Visible anti-theft devices and a car alarm are recommended to safeguard your vehicle.
