I am sure this has deterred a few thieves. It was decently difficult to remove from my vehicle without a woking key and lock. I like that it has a little cover for the keyhole to keep rain salt and ice out of the locking mechanism. Decent priced.
Unfortunately did not last a full year as the key broke off inside of it and it took me about 30 minutes to drill out the lock and smash it off my vehicle. It also had a tendancy to rust and make mess in the trunk. The rusting made it more difficult over time to push the two pieces together.

A: I bought 2 separate locks, and they both have the exact same keys... same numbers on the keys and both sets can open both locks... So I am wondering if someone else purchased them as well and can now use their keys to open mine too... kind of concerning and I am definitely inquiring about this issue tomorrow. Just bought them today

A: Yes, they are ajustable to fit any tire size. I switch this between 3 different trailers and they fit all of them without a problem .

A: According to their website, no. But try the Club Auto Brake Lock or Steering Wheel Lock. My insurance company and police suggested both. And don't leave your keys near the front door. They can pick up the signal and copy it. Our Ram was just stolen...
