Protecting your investments from techie criminals.

NEW vehicles are expensive have keyless entry and remote starters. Any device to stop a techie criminal with a laptop from stealing the electronic codes from your key fob is worth the price of this RFID key protector. Great peace of mind.

Faraday Pouch RFID blocker.

I wanted 2 faraday pouches and this one is good. I tested it and it works. Not sure about needing the RFID feature but it is not in the way so might be good. I’m not sure about using the metal key attachment. Might use it.

It Simply Doesn't Work

It looks nice and feels nice, but it couldn't do what it's meant to do. I was still able to lock and unlock my vehicle while my key fobs were still in the pouch. It's a huge security risk for anyone buying this product.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Do I have to take the key fob out of the pouch to start my car? If not, how does the pouch block the signal to others?

4 Answers

A: Yes you have to take the key out. I bought two of these last year. I tested them out and they worked fine then and now. By that I mean the pouches do indeed block the signal. I am not sure why others say they do not work. Except...the cover has to be closed and folded over since the signal will escape otherwise. Perhaps that is why some are saying the pouch does not block signals.
