What is a carafe?

A coffee carafe is a container that holds and maintains your coffee’s temperature without changing the flavour. There are two types, glass and thermal. Glass carafes, which are commonly seen with most drip coffee makers, and there are thermal carafes, which can keep your coffee hot for hours without an external heat source and usually have a hot plate underneath.

What should I do if my coffee pot breaks?

At Canadian Tire, you can find a selection of replacement coffee pots and carafes. Before you buy, make sure the coffee pot will be compatible with your current drip coffee maker.

What can I use to keep my coffee warm other than a travel mug?

Enjoy a fresh hot cup of coffee wherever you go with a thermal stainless-steel carafe. Thermal carafes are double-walled containers that can reduce heat transfer and heat loss. They can retain heat for hours and preserve the coffee aroma and flavour.

Additional information for residents of Quebec only: The regular annual rate for persons applying for the Triangle Mastercard and the Triangle World Elite Mastercard is 21.99% for cash transactions and related fees and 21.99% for all other charges. The minimum payment is the sum of (a) the greater of: (i) interest and fees shown on your statement + $10; or (ii) 5% of the New Balance, excluding amounts on special payment plans, (b) any balance over your credit limit, (c) any amounts past due not included in (b) above, and (d) the amount of any equal payments plan instalments then due.
