I like this product. We had a power outage and we used the old fashioned coffee percolater. Poured the coffee in the carafe and kept it hot for a whole day. And it was still warm after 24hours

Q: Is this dishwasher safe? (Both lid and carafe)

A: I don’t use a dishwasher as I don’t have it. But I’m sure the Thermose parts are very well attached and designed. So I’m sure there wouldn’t be any problem washing the Thermose using a dishwasher.

Q: How does this Thermos carafe open for cleaning?

A: It is a twist top lid (the lid on top of the handle twists off, the handle doesn't move). The carafe is best cleaned with a brush that fits the narrow opening.
