Dont waste your money

Waste of money. I purchased this 2 months ago, and now the plastic top won't thread to the lid with the black ring, therefore I had to attach it without the ring, but it won't stay tightened...rendering the pot useless.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Poorly Constructed Item. Should be recalled.

It is poorly constructed. The plastic handle on the top would not stay on.When u pour the cofee, I attempredto hokd onto theplaszic lid handle. It came off. It wouldnot tighten onto the lid. As a result my fingers were burned. I returned it and wasgiven a gift card for the value of the coffee pot. The cashier tried zo tighten the top & id did not tighten.

Q: How will it work when only making 4 cups? I had one where when you made smaller quantities the water did not come up to the basket so you had to make a large pot always...

A: The water should NOT touch the basket. The principle of percolating is that the water goes up the stem and flows over the grounds. Just put half the amount of water and coffee and brew!
