I am on my sixth air mattress at least. Every one has developed leaks, and none have been in contact with sharp objects. Even have a foam pad underneath. Have tried to find leaks, but seems almost impossible, even with soapy water. The latest mattress is brand new, and leaks right out of the box. Will never try these again, and will seriously consider before purchasing any Roots product again

il dessouffle tout le temps.Je ne passe pas une nuit sans le souffler 2 à 3 fois c'est pour vous dire que le sommeil n'est pas réparateur. C'est de la scrapt

I am now on my third Roots Air Bed, as the first two I purchased have had leaks. The Roots Air Bed was purchased on the recommendation of a Canadian Tire manager. Per Canadian Tire, I am only able to exchange for the same item, which I now have no faith in due to two leaky mattresses. Don't waste your money buying air beds from Canadian Tire.

I leave it inflated for weeks as an overflow bed at the cottage ,stays in tact .The built in compressor works well too !

Mattress loses air

I purchased this air mattress for my GF and I to sleep on, for a 4 day camping trip. (325lbs total)
Lasted for this trip, but near the end started losing a bit of air. Took it out the other day as i hosted a party and wanted a couple to sleep on it, instead of driving home after drinking. Matress would not hold air in it at all. Would be 100% deflated within two hours. No holes found in mattress either.
Very disappointed seeing that this is a "ROOTS" product. I would not recommend it, for the price paid.

A: It is impossible to give an accurate answer to this question. It all depends on the quality of the batteries but most of all how often you inflate and deflate the bed . Based on past experience, the 4 Duracell will last a season of 4 or 5 camp trips.

Q: Can you use the pump with an AC outlet as well, or just with the batteries?
