Needs metal blade head option

The more I learn about micro plastics the less I appreciate this string cutter. Why isn’t there a metal blade head available? Based on your answer to my question I can only assume AI answered it so I will try again. I see that steel blade cutting head options are available for your multi head system. Since I already made the investment in this string trimmer I certainly don’t want to spend more money on a different system but would be happy to invest in a steel blade cutting head for the trimmer I have. I believe it would be a good investment to keep microplastics from using trimmer string off my property. Thanks for your consideration on this!

Hi there, QU25! To reduce the risk of serious injury, never use wire or metal-reinforced line or other material in place of the nylon cutting lines. Pieces of wire could break off and be thrown at high speed toward the operator or bystanders. Thank you for your review!

BEAST of a Trimmer

This little trimmer is remarkably good. When I tell you that the power loading system is legendary, I mean it! The constant 7-inch line was a game-changer while weed-eating. The fact that I can run until my battery stops without any hassle is the best. I love this thing!

Bent shaft on Stihl gas trimmer so decided to try a lighter battery powered replacement. I am happy with the Ego blower my children gave me and already have 56 volt Ego batteries so chose an Ego trimmer. Used once and am happy with how it feels and performs.

Great String Trimmer

Excellent power does a better job than my gas string trimmer. A little heavy but it is well balanced so it is not uncomfortable to handle. Love the automatic line feed.
