the beeping is way too loud. sounds like a smoke alarm. after about 3 years the elements on the top and bottom are warped and look like they might burst. very dangerous. thought it would a lot longer than that

This unit was on sale and is filling a gap until our new stove arrives. It is very small (which we knew) but does not come with any appropriate sized trays so you have to find your own small oven-safe ware to use. The temperature runs hot and the dial only changes in increments of 10F, so you can’t set it for 375, you have to choose 370 or 380. The exterior of the unit gets very hot so our unit is placed on a counter top with lots of space around it for circulation. The elements do not toast bread evenly, so if you want an even bake/toast then you need to rotate your food (and you need to closely monitor your baking.) This unit does not compare to our former Breville nor Ninja units, but it’s not in those price brackets (and we would not have paid full price for this model). This unit suffices for our short-term use, but it is not a longterm solution for our cooking needs.

Q: I love this toaster oven. I know I can use aluminum/ceramic/stainless steel baking pans/bowls. I would like to be able to also use glass/Corningware/pyrex/Corelle pans/bowls. Is this possible and safe to do? Thank you.

A: I USE THE TOASTER OVEN BASICALLY ON A DAILY BASIS, AND I ENJOY IT MUCH MORE THAN MICROWAVES. I ENJOY COOKING RIBS OR STEAKS OR OTHER KINDS OF MEAT IN IT, WHERE WHILE IT COOKS PROPERTHE GREASE DRIPS OUT OF THE MEAT.

A: Yes. I don't know what product Cheers59 has, but there is no preheat option (and I have the manual in front of me right now to confirm this). The timer starts as soon as you press start regardless of what temperature the oven is or what mode you chose. .

A: Yes*, but remember that parchment paper is only rated for up to 400°F (204°C). *The temperature of this oven must be inaccurate because my parchment paper burned at 400°F which I've never had happen at less than 450°F with the brands I use.

A: No, there is just one oddly-shaped rack (it's a rectangle with two large "notches" removed on one side. I don't know what product Liis has but if's not this one. Note also that the lowest rack slot is only 2" below the rotisserie so good luck finding a 4" chicken or roast.
