I purchased the E-Terra because it was on sale. That should have been my first clue. My old soda stream broke...this is the second one btw. So I decided to purchase a new one, not aware the the cylinders I had for the old system do not fit this one! The new cylinders ar twice as expensive and now I'm stuck with an open full cylinder that I can do nothing with and paid a lot of money for.

I’ve had a SodaStream for probably 15 years, and this is my third unit, second model. The eTerra is an improvement on the last model, but still not perfect. If you drink a lot of seltzer, or you’re like me, and just like high carbonation, then a SodaStream is a great device for you. I have multiple carbonation canisters, and that’s a must-have. I just wish there was a way to tell that you were running low on carbonation. The amount of times I’ve gone to take a sip, and it’s more flat than I would like. Its footprint is pretty small, as it’s a tall device, so I would measure and check your counter clearance. But the size is very reasonable, and the only maintenance I ever do is clean it off with a damp paper towel.
