    Product Details

The Grabber™ A/TX is an aggressive, all-season all-terrain tire for light trucks and SUVs. Designed to balance exceptional off-road capability with on-road performance and aggressive styling, this tire comes complete with Duragen Technology, which provides robust strength and durability. This tire also carries the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol for severe winter conditions and is pinned for winter studs.

    Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

    Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

    Accepts Studs

This tire can have studs installed to provide additional mechanical traction on icy surfaces. Studded tires are prohibited by law in many provinces. Ask at your local Canadian Tire store.

These tires are delaminated after only 30,000 milles. They should call it General Crapper...

      Awesome tires

So far these tires seem pretty good, great steering response even with heavy rain and hauling. I've only put on about 2000km so far but they seem to be wearing just fine, that is, they've barely worn at all

      Best Truck Tire!

I have General tires on both our vehicles. My wife has other Generals for summer on her Tuscon and I have these on my truck. I have previously run them all year before I also got dedicated winters. We live in Northern BC and those are the best all terrain tires ever. They are VERY comparable to the popular BF Goodrich KO2’s. Only real difference is that the Generals have a harder rubber compound making their tread life longer than the KO2’s. True story. I got 4 winters and 3 summers out of my last set before I had to get new ones. They are awesome in snow and gravel and highway. I personally will run these tires as long as they make them!!! I also now have the General Altimax Arctics and studded for my truck as well. General Tires Rock!!!!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Questions

      1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: The flyer advertises these as All - Terrain and online is advertising all season. Big difference, which is it?

      • A: So Canadian Tire doesn't consider this a winter-rated tire despite the Mud and Snow rating, the 3-peak mountain snowflake certification for snow traction, and the ability to accept tire studs? Ridiculous. And yes the tire is a an All-Terrain -- a very capable All-Terrain (which is winter-rated).
