Loosen and lift lawn dead grass and debris from your lawn with the EGO POWER+ 14” Multi-Head Dethatcher Attachment. Part of the EGO POWER+ Multi-Head System, the cordless dethatcher attachment features a three-position raking depth adjustment lever for optimal removal of dead grass and other debris, allowing water, sunlight, and nutrients to reach the roots of the lawn. The dethatcher attachment features 8-inch rugged wheels for smooth operation over all types of grass plus a 14-inch clearing width for efficient raking. Its durable solid steel drive shaft and steel tines ensure efficient clearing, with up to 3,000 RPM when paired with the EGO POWER+ Multi-Head Power Head (available separately). EGO attachments are designed specifically for your EGO POWER+ Power Head (PH1400, PH1420) and offer the highest quality and performance.

Disappointed in Dethatcher

I have a cord electric dethatcher that I have been using for years and was so looking forward to EGO coming out with one. My lawn is more than a quarter acre and there is no way I would be able to use this hand held dethatcher attachment. 😞

It suits me fine

I quite like this little gem. It’s lite, easy to handle and works pretty good! It is a bit awkward at first, but it grows on ya, I do wish it had some handle adjustment, I’m 6’3” and I feel I have to lean some so it doesn’t hang up in the grass. I used to put a thatch blade on my mower, I like this a lot more. If your like me and thatch or power rake, this just might work for you. Glad I’ve got it in my lineup now.

Frustration at registering my produce

Just unpacked it yesterday. The power head didn't work. The support person was helpful and said they would replace it as soon as I sent in my receipt, which I just did. Still too soon for any other information on that. But that's not what this review is about. This review is about the registration process. I had another product to register. The registration is the most difficult I've ever had to deal with. After all the other information they want, they want the serial number of the product. They say to use the QR code on the device. The QR code is so small that my camera couldn't read it. I tried the QR code on the box. It was big enough, but the registration app wouldn't read it anyway. After each registration try, I was forced to go back to the beginning, no backspace and no memory of what I've already done. That's a lot of stuff to keep entering over and over. I did finally get it registered, but the experience left me so frustrated that I was motivated to write this review.
