I bought this a week ago and have used it at least 4 times thus far. I found it to be a useful alternative to spraying poison on my lawn. The manual says to steam the weeds for around 5-10 seconds. I don't think that's enough. For thick thistles, I cut them down then steam them with the 3 prong attachment for 30 seconds. Poof! They're dead! It takes about 3 days, but they will die. After each 30 second blast, it takes just under 1 minute to repressurize. It's a relatively slow process, but well worth the results. I use the cone attachment for weeds growing between stones, through the driveway using the same technique and found it works fantastic.

Vraiment efficace.
Cependant le temps d'intervention est allongé si on a beaucoup de destruction à faire car on doit attendre que la pression se rétablisse. Et la capacité en eau est de seulement 6 tasses.

Great idea but....

Seems like a great idea, and I thought it would be more efficient than my kettle-with-boiling-water method for getting rid of hardscape weeds. But the cone is pretty small, and also after steaming 3 or 4 small weeds, I would have to wait a minute for the pressure to build again. So it was time-consuming and inefficient.
I returned it.
A bigger, more powerful dynasteam? Sure, I'd try it again!!

Really kills weeds, especially 3-prong tool for dandelion roots. After 3 days weeds are totally deadf.
Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because I think its overpriced since its almost all plastic.

A: It would depend on the depth of the bulbs under the soil. We would recommend caution if using this in a garden bed, as this unit is non-selective when killing.

A: The DynaSteam will kill weeds in different ways, for example, if using the triple-spike for killing a dandelion in the middle of a lawn, it will kill the dandelion and will leave a small circle (2-3 inches) for a few days, where then the grass roots and new grass will fill in the space shortly right after. If you use the cone to get rid of spreading weeds with low root system mixed with grass, this will be a bit more challenging, as the goal is to get rid of the weed but it will also affect the grass that is intertwined with the weed, in this case, the soil will be completely sterilized, and new grass seed can be used to ensure only grass will grow.

A: The Dynasteam Weed Steamer will work on moss on cement or within the lawn, however it is not suggested to use this product on your lawn, as it is non-selective and will kill all plants (including grass) when used.
