Q: how noisy are these tires
4 years agoA: I drive a 1999 Toyota Camry and for me it is pretty quiet. It was a great difference from my old tires. My old tires had a bit of humming noise.

Q: Are these considered M&S tires, or do they have the mountain & snowflake?
6 years agoA: The Continental ContiProContact Tire is indeed a Mud & Snow tire but it does not have a snowflake rating.

Q: Is this tire enough for 1 to 5 mm of snow?
12 years agoA: No because of temperature and tread depth. A winter tire would be a much safer choice. New they have 9mm of tread. When they reach 5mm they're no longer safe for snow driving. Winter tires tread design makes them last longer and perform better even at their lower limits. Cold temperatures and the harder rubber all season tire give less grip than winter tires up to 20% difference.
