      Review For Dueler H/T 689

I got 47K out of the original equipment HTs. That is about what I expected. What I did not expect was the cupping and inside tread wearing faster than expected. I had the truck's alignment checked and it was within mfgr tolerances so the problem was with the tires. I do primarily city driving with a few longtrips. I do not haul anything and do not go off-roading at all. I replaced themwith four Dunlop Rover HTs. We will see how they hold up.

Bought my 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 63000, tires were already pretty spent (5/32), now have 94000 and they have hardly worn. Made it througha British Columbia winter without slipping in conditions where half the 4X4s were in the ditch. Awesome tire for wear and traction. Putting a fresh set on now.I would recommend these tires to anyone.

After 8,000 miles, I have 2 rear tires that have had to be patched--not sure that is the tires fault. 2 and 3 inch nails will do that. Now one of the tires is losing air quickly and I'm debating whether I buy one new tire, or get a better set for the money--like the Firestone Destination LE 2's, which I think are cheaper. In light and deep snow these tires felt to me like they had good forward/backward traction. But turning on light snow in these tires wasn't confidence inspiring. ABS can only do so much to offset slick snow. In deep snow Ithought these did fine. But something about slippery lateral movement on wet and light snow road surfaces makes me want better. I found these do well on dirt and gravel roads, and on muddy dirt roads. They are smooth, good on dry highway, and after 8K miles, the tires look like they could possibly pass the 60K mark for treadwear. But, if these tires don't inspire confidence after 8,000 miles, then what are they going to inspire at 18K? On the other hand, if you just slowdown a bit in wet and lt-snow and take it easy-- you'll enjoy the improved gas mileage and smooth ride. I'd say not a bad tire, but there are better options for the price.

This Tires are very good. I purchase these tires in 2009 when my Truck had 70,212 miles now it has 135,989 highway and city miles desert conditions. I will be replacing with same tires again over all these are great tires. I recomend these tires i used them in my commercial vehicle.

I have these tires on my 2001 pathfinder 4wd they have the same tread that the original tires had that came from factory, in 2wd on snow and ice the tires dont give very good traction but in 4wd i can floor it from standing still and it wont even slip just like on dry pavement Ive driven like a maniac on snow going around turns flooring it but have never lost control of the car, only on ice when i brake it goes but so does any tire. Very good tires overall for a 4wd suv but i dont think very good for 2wd
