    Product Details

General Evertrek RTX Tire is an all-season touring tire offering impressive consumer value, excellent year-round traction, optimum grip, great durability and the promise of a quiet and comfortable drive.

    Mud And Snow Rated

The M+S symbol differentiates an All-Season tire from a Summer only tire. While rated for light snow, they will not match a winter tire for traction or stopping distance on snow and ice.

    • Unique stamp that visually indicates need for tire replacement by changing from "Replacement Tire Monitor" to "Replace Tire" based on tread wear

    • Visual Alignment Indicator extends the life of the tire by visually identifying misalignment

    • Unique tread compound design reduces surface abrasion, promoting even tread wear and extended tread life

    • Twin cushion silica tread compound delivers extraordinary ride comfort

    • It’s best to take off your winter tires when the outside temperature is consistently at 7 degrees Celsius or higher. This is because the rubber compound in All Season Tires is better suited for warmer temperatures and to provide better grip to the road. The softer compound in Winter Tires is designed for cold weather usage and will wear faster in warmer temperatures.

Evertrek tires provide long tread life, good value

General Tire Evertrek RTX is a good three-season tire which should suit most Canadian drivers. Its claim-to-fame is long treadlife. It is not intended to be a high performance tire. Its UTQG rating is 700/A/B. That's 700 for treadlife, which is higher than most all season tires, though not as high as the Michelin Defender T+H, which costs significantly more. In my experience, Evertrek RTX does hold up well in extended use. It is a far better value than cheaper tires with brand names you've never heard of.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Can I buy this tire for Nissan versa '09? My car is Nissan versa '09 and its tire spec is 185/65r15 86H But this tire spec is 185/65r15 88T. Can I use this tires for my car?

    • A: Load rating is okay, but speed rating for your car H=130mph, and a T tire is only 118 mph. Your call if you don't drive anywhere that fast, it should be fine, but you won't find any mechanic anywhere that would say it is okay due to liability reasons. I bought the tires last week and I really like them.

Q: So I have a 2019 Ford Ecosport Titanium and usually the tire size is 205/50 R17. Yet I bought these ones that claimed to say fit my vehicle but the size is 205/65 R15???

    1 Answer
    • General Tire

A: Hello and thank you for your email. Clearly the 205/65R15 would mean to change the wheel to a 15" size, which may not work and I do not see that size as a recommended Ford fitment for the Ecosport Titanium. The Evertrek RTX is a discontinued product and that may be the size they have remaining on clearance special, but this will not fit without new wheels and confirmation that the wheel will fit with the brake and suspension currently on your vehicle. I would avoid and buy the Evertrek GT in 205/50R17 to match your vehicle specifications.

    • A: Hi, thank you for your question. The Evertrek RTX has two steel belt plies and a spiral cap ply, so in total there are three.
