If you would prefer to search by tire size, we have you covered there too.  Just select the Section Width, Aspect Ratio and Diameter and we’ll show you tires that match those measurements. You can find that information on the sidewall of your tire – look for a series of letters and numbers.  For example “225/65 R17” or “LT265/70 R17” or “265/70 R17”.

Q) How long should the tires on my Toyota list??

A)  There are few different ways you can tell when it’s time to replace your tire.  The average tire lasts between 3-5 years depending on how much you drive.  On average, Canadian drives about 20,000 km per year, so you can expect your tires to last between 60,000 km and 80,000 km.

Q) How do I know it’s time to replace my tires?

A) There are three signs that it’s time to replace your Toyota tires. The first, is tread depth - your tires should be replaced if tread depth is below 2/32’’.  For quick and easy instructions on measuring your tread depth, click here: How to measure your tire tread depth

It may also be time to replace your Toyota tires if they look dry or cracked, especially on the sidewalls.  For examples of what to look for, just click here: How to tell if your tires are old

It’s also time to change your tires if they are more than 10 years old.  To find out the when your tires were manufactured look for the DOT number – the last 4 digits represent the week the tire was manufactured and the year.  For example if you see “2418”, it means the tire was manufactured the 24th week of 2018.

Q) Do I need winter tires?

A) Winter in Canada brings challenging conditions – everything from icy roads to heavy snowfall. To navigate these tough conditions in your Toyota safely, having winter tires is crucial. Winter tires provide exceptional specialized tread patterns and rubber compounds to maintain traction on icy and snow-covered surfaces, ensuring you have optimal control of your vehicle. Even if live somewhere that doesn’t get a lot of snow, winter tires should be a key part of your winter maintenance routine.
